About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong leadership instincts to join our team
and take ownership of AI-related projects from the ground up.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a real management dimension — you'll write
production code, lead code reviews, and own a project end-to-end. You'll work with a technical
team that moves fast and values clarity over process.

What You'll Do:

• Participate in development of AI-related projects, from architecture decisions to shipping production features
• Write clean, well-tested Python code and maintain and improve existing codebases
• Conduct thorough code reviews and uphold engineering standards across the team
• Manage a project end-to-end: scope, timeline, risks, and delivery

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience at senior level
• Proven team management or tech lead experience
• Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol and backend development principles
• Solid understanding of cloud-native application development
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Alembic, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and similar libraries
• Solid grasp of software architecture and design patterns
• Ability to assess deadlines, surface risks early, and communicate trade-offs clearly
• English B2+ (comfortable in written and spoken professional communication)
• Russian — fluent

About the Role:

As a healthcare AI startup, we are looking for an experienced security infrastructure engineer to build and maintain our HIPAA controls and zero-trust architecture.
You will partner directly with our CISO, who sets security direction, and our DevOps team, who owns infrastructure.
This is a hands-on technical role with real compliance ownership — you'll write IaC, implement controls,
and be the security voice in engineering conversations before anything ships to production.

What You'll Work On:

• HIPAA controls on GCP: encryption at rest and in transit, audit logging, VPC Service Controls, least-privilege IAM
• Zero-trust access controls on GCP: IAP, BYOD device verification (unmanaged devices, no MDM)
• Google Workspace security: SSO, MFA, audit logging
• Write and maintain IaC in Terraform/HCL; produce runbooks and documentation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to automate development and deployment processes
• Review new infrastructure and product work for security gaps before production
• Advise product and engineering on compliance questions

What We're Looking For — Required:

• 7+ years of DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering experience
• HIPAA controls shipped in production
• Experience explaining security decisions and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
• GCP: GKE, Cloud Run, IAM, VPC Service Controls, Secret Manager, encryption, audit logging
• Terraform / HCL and infrastructure as code
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions or equivalent)

Nice to Have:

• Compliance automation platforms (Drata, Vanta, Secureframe)
• Auditor-facing experience
• Identity workflow automation
